Deformity - Bug Collection CS (2016)

From the depths of New York City Deformity were born and they played high intensity weirdo raw hardcore at the same time both aggressive and noisy. All mixed up and recorded following the old "all knobs to the right" method. This should appeal to fans of classic noise punk not unlike Confuse, Disorder or Zyanose while at the same time, I can see how someone digging Hank Wood And The Hammerheads could be into this cause of occasional garage punk swagger.

This tape compiles all of their demos (released and unreleased ones), both 7" singles on Toxic State and La Vida Es Un Mus and scrapped LP from 2012. So you get the discography type of thing here.

After the band broke up members went on to form Kaleidoscope, JJ Doll and Ivy (who also call it quits).

This one was released by the band via their label D4MT Labs. Get it here. You can also buy Shards 7" here.

Nandas - Demo (2014) & S/T 7" (2016)

Recent primitive raw punk addition to the roster of Toxic State Records from NYC.

Nandas are female fronted gang of mutated punks heavily into barbaric stomps, distorted trashy guitar sound, raspy whispering vocals and generally dreadful sound. Essential like everything Toxic State puts out!

For fans of Nog Watt, early Rudi Peni singles, Wretched, european hardcore and Nandas nyc contemporaries like Crazy Spirit, Dawn of Humans, Hank Wood etc.

L.O.T.I.O.N. - Digital Control and Man's Obsolescence 12" [2015]

Drum machine fueled weirdness from NYC. This is really harsh and primitive as you would espect from the band on Toxic State roster. Aesthetic and music at first reminded me of industrial/noise era GISM but this could also appeal to fans of Big Black, Ministry or any kind of minimal electronic music. Members of Dawn of Humans, Hank Wood & The Hammerheads and Survival.

Euro press on La Vida Es Un Mus.

Nuclear Spring - Live On WFMU's Distort New Jersey [2013]

Pretty decent live session Brooklyn's Nuclear Spring recorded live on WFMU's Distort New Jersey radio show. Nine infectious political punk anthems including at the time one unreleased track called In The New Regime (this one later ended on Maximum Rocknroll's compilation called Sound The Alarms). I won't bother you much with describing how great this band is cause I've been raving about them earlier.

I found one copy of their final 7" in the storage the other day. This is the last copy from the label till it's sold out. You can get it here.

Ajax - Demo CS [2014]

Straight ahead, short, superfast and pissed off hardcore from NYC. This demo is full of blistering riffs and there's a hell of a lot of barking thrown in. Somewhere I read that Ajax sounds like a slightly less melodic incarnation od Negative Approach and I can see the connection. Ajax also shares members with Creem, Warthog and Nuclear Spring.

Even Worse Records is repressing this one as a 7".

Garbageman - Mad Future Demo CS [2013]

I got this tape in some random trade with folks from Creem when we were setting up Nuclear Spring / Creem show here in Zagreb. And then, I was not aware of the fact that Creem members were also involved in this project. Garbageman play pissed off, energetic and primitive hardcore inspired by early Boston and NYC sound. If "Victim In Pain" and straight edge mean anything to you, you'll dig this cassette.

You can buy last copies of this tape from Doomtown Records. Here's the link for DT Discogs Store.

As we speak of Doomtown Records; I just want to say that Nuclear Spring's European Tour 7" is almost sold out (we have 6 copies left for mailorder). The main idea is that this one will never be repressed so this is probably the last chance to get your hands on their latest effort. You can buy goodies from Doomtown distro from our discogs store or you can get in touch via email. We have plenty of new vinyls, tapes and zines in stock.
