Deformity - Bug Collection CS (2016)

From the depths of New York City Deformity were born and they played high intensity weirdo raw hardcore at the same time both aggressive and noisy. All mixed up and recorded following the old "all knobs to the right" method. This should appeal to fans of classic noise punk not unlike Confuse, Disorder or Zyanose while at the same time, I can see how someone digging Hank Wood And The Hammerheads could be into this cause of occasional garage punk swagger.

This tape compiles all of their demos (released and unreleased ones), both 7" singles on Toxic State and La Vida Es Un Mus and scrapped LP from 2012. So you get the discography type of thing here.

After the band broke up members went on to form Kaleidoscope, JJ Doll and Ivy (who also call it quits).

Nandas - Demo (2014) & S/T 7" (2016)

Recent primitive raw punk addition to the roster of Toxic State Records from NYC.

Nandas are female fronted gang of mutated punks heavily into barbaric stomps, distorted trashy guitar sound, raspy whispering vocals and generally dreadful sound. Essential like everything Toxic State puts out!

For fans of Nog Watt, early Rudi Peni singles, Wretched, european hardcore and Nandas nyc contemporaries like Crazy Spirit, Dawn of Humans, Hank Wood etc.

L.O.T.I.O.N. - Digital Control and Man's Obsolescence 12" [2015]

Drum machine fueled weirdness from NYC. This is really harsh and primitive as you would espect from the band on Toxic State roster. Aesthetic and music at first reminded me of industrial/noise era GISM but this could also appeal to fans of Big Black, Ministry or any kind of minimal electronic music. Members of Dawn of Humans, Hank Wood & The Hammerheads and Survival.

Black Boot - Demo CS [2014]

Here we go with some more nasty hardcore punk from the Toxic State camp. Black Boot nuke yorkers seem to be influenced equally by USBM akin to Bone Awl and everything that influenced Crazy Spirit, Hank Wood, Dawn of Humans, Murderer, Warthog and Perdition (all the bands of whom Black Boot is comprised). This is raw, stripped down to the bones and ugly stuff. Not for the weak!!!

Murderer - Demo Tape [2013]

Kinda new band from the city of Nuke York featuring people from Crazy Spirit, Dawn of Humans, Goosebumps and Hank Wood & The Hammerheads. Not unlike Crazy Spirit, Murderer's music sound like it's been executed by mutant mole people living in the deepest depths of NYC sewers. This is some pretty nasty, ugly and creepy music played in total primitive manner and it have that stompy and galloping style Crazy Spirit are known for. Plus, if you add Hank Wood's pitt bull alike vocals on top of that how could you not like Murderer???

Toxic State Records put this one out. Grave Mistake Records is stocking some copies.
