Slugga - Demo CS [2014]

7 tracks of simple and short stomping hardcore thugerry drenched in slime. Atlanta's Slugga would perfectly fit on a compilation with bands such as Crazy Spirit, Lumpy And The Dumpers, Prag, Black Panties, Dawn of Humans etc. Long live the slime!

Recently, Slugga dropped new 7" on Total Punk Records. You can get it here.

Cops - Demo CS [2012]

Short-lived Atlanta punk trio led by Gentleman Jesse, GG King on drums and Ryan Dinosaur on bass. This even doesn't sound like a demo recording and this is not a strange thing considering these guys were/are playing/played in crème de la crème Atlanta based punk bands such as Carbonas, Predator, Bukkake Boys etc. 4 original songs plus killer take on Christian Death's Spiritual Cramps.

This is sold out ages ago (Scavenger of Death put this out) but beside this tape Cops put out 7" called Premonitions on Robs House. Not sure if the label is still active but you can track both tape and 7" on discogs.

Predator - Honest Man 7" [2009]

from 7 inch Atlanta:

"Predator's debut EP is a blast of three-chord punk rock that draws from the same American hardcore and punk influences that guided The Carbonas and Frantic when they first burst on the scene. The band features Mike (bass) and Brannon (guitar) from Frantic and Beat Beat Beat sharing vocal duties. They are backed by drummer John Necro, who is good enough to play with a bunch of shredding metal dudes but doesn't mind playing back-to-basics punk. The salvo opens with "Honest Man" and its angst-filled vocals. The flipside features two brief blasts of hardcore in "DLDD" and "No". When I say hardcore, I mean American classics like The Zero Boys..."

Out on Rob's House. Buy single here.

GG King "Last of the Night Wiggers" Demo CS [2009]

from TERMINAL BOREDOM

"Essentially the last Carbonas line-up minus Dave on drums and switching instruments a bit. Six "ruff" demo tracks, and they're all really good (well...except the cover of "The Letter"...), definitely a decent couple of singles here. "Babbling Voices" and "Head in the Clouds" touch some slower and sleazier punk moments than the Carbonas did, "Drug Zoo" is right up there with any of their catchiest cuts, "Flowing Robes" is practically a crossover song (I'm talking about the metal/hc crossover you idiots...) and "Witching Hour" is catchy garage-trash. I felt really bad about the Carbonas bust-up, but I feel a whole lot better knowing GG is down there in ATL still carrying the torch."

Ex Humans - Chicane 7" [2009]

from FULL BREACH 77

"Brooklyn’s Ex Humans are gonna rip it up! This is brand new, down and dirty, NYC punk rock. The Ex Humans are Josh Martin, Todd Martin, and Jesse Martinez. They come from other killer bands: Carbonas, Beat Beat Beat, and The Star Spangles. The Ex Humans play fast and their songs are undeniably raw and catchy."
