This is the first self-titled EP from Red Cross who later changed their name to Redd Kross due to legal threats with a lawsuit from a International Red Cross. The Los Angeles hardcore band included Steve and Jeff McDonald, Ron Reyes (later in Black Flag) and Greg Hetson (of Circle Jerks' fame). Later, Reyes and Hetson left the band to join Circle Jerks and Black Flag while McDonald brothers completed the new lineup on their first full-length album Born Innocent.

this ep is amazing, the song "cover band" has a riff that hetson later used in circle jerks for the song "live fast die young". amazing album.
