And finally, here are my lists!
TOP ALBUMS:
Dinosaur Jr. - Farm
- Mascis, Lou & Murph once again bring you the perfect blend of indie rock. Incredible record!
Zero Boys - History of
- Zero Boys influenced all of your favorite bands from Atlanta and that is for a reason. This reissued LP have some tapes never before released on vinyl + songs from some splits and singles. If you're into their Vicious Circle record you should like this.
Digital Leather - Warm Brother
- Fuzzy & warm synth pop brilliance from everyone's favorite fag Shawn Foree (who's now got a real band).
The Spits - Vol. 4
- The Spits are probably the best band ever. You must worship them for their reatarded vision of Ramones\Misfits influenced sloppy punk rock. Unlike all those Ramones influenced bands Spits have synths and they like Devo. New LP and Pain 7" are total fuckin' killers.
Cloak\Dagger - Lost Art
- I was really into We Are LP but i like this new record as much.
Night Fever - New Blood
- Rock n roll influenced hardcore punk straight outta K-town, Denmark. Salomon brings you incredible vocals on these 9 tracks.
Purple Mercy - Selftitled
- If you're into drugs, pills, Electric Wizard, Sleep, Black Sabbath and Network The Movie you should give a try to these guys.
Mean Jeans - Are You Serious?
- Like The Spits, Mean Jeans are one of those rare bands who worship Ramones and dont suck.
Future Of The Left - Travels With Myself And Another
- These guys from mclusky can't record a shitty song.
Burial - Speed At Night
- German hardcore punks who sound just like their japanese influences.
Obits - I Blame You
- Rick Froberg (Hot Snakes, Drive Like Jehu) and John Reis (Rocket from the Crypt) team up to record this great record. Sounds like more rock n roll influenced Hot Snakes.
Ty Segall - Lemons
- This guy's been recording even more than a Jay Reatard. On this LP Ty delivers you an incredible mix of surf rock & garage punk.
